The San Diego region is home to Native American cultures, dating back 10,000 years.
All faithful are invited to the diocese’s annual Indigenous People Mass, which will incorporate native language, traditions and prayers. The Mass will honor Holy native martyrs.
Bishop Michael Pham will celebrate the Mass, accompanied by Father Chris Bongato, Vicar for Ethnic and Intercultural Communities, and other clergy.
