National Marriage Week

What is National Marriage Week?

Join us in celebrating National Marriage Week from February 7 to 14! National Marriage Week is a special time to reflect on the beautiful gift of the sacrament of matrimony. This year’s theme from the USCCB is Man and Woman He Created Them: Together with Purpose, inviting couples to strengthen their bond and deepen their lifelong commitment to each other.

National Marriage Week in the Diocese

Each year, our diocese celebrates the gift of marriage with a diocesan Marriage Anniversary Mass. Please join Bishop Pham and the rest of the diocese on Saturday, February 14 at 11am at Church of the Resurrection in Escondido to renew your vows and celebrate the gift of marriage with our spouses, families, and faith communities. Many parishes are also celebrating National Marriage Week with their own marriage celebrations, anniversary masses, and date nights. Please contact your local parish to learn more.

Where Do I Start?

This website presents the opportunities our Diocese offers you to walk with our community, your brothers and sisters, as we learn and practice our faith, deepen our relationship with God, and share the Good News of Jesus of Nazareth.

“Marriage is the most beautiful thing God has created.”

- Pope Francis
