The Catholic Community from the Diocese of San Diego joins millions of people around the world to pray and fast during the 40 Days for Life Campaign. This campaign is a continuous peaceful prayer vigil for 40 days in front of abortion facilities with the aim to provide resources to pregnant women in crisis and save babies from abortion. More than 26,000 babies have been saved, and 187 abortion centers have been closed. This is possible thanks to millions of people who constantly fast and pray for the end of abortion.
Who participates?
Courageous people who believe in the value of life and the value of family, such as pastors, priests, deacons, Culture of Life Parish Coordinators and their team members, Pregnancy Resource Centers, and advocates of life.
Ways to participate
- Sign up for vigil hours by visiting your local location. See the list of locations below.
- Invite parishioners, friends and family member to sign up for vigil hours.
- Promote the 40 Days for Life in social media.
- Offer the Mass, rosary and sacrifices during the campaign for all mothers and their unborn children.
