The Catholic Community from the Diocese of San Diego joins millions of people around the world to pray and fast during the 40 Days for Life Campaign. This campaign is a continuous peaceful prayer vigil for 40 days in front of abortion facilities with the aim to provide recourses to pregnant women in crisis and save babies from abortion. More than 23,000 babies have been saved, and 144 abortion centers have been closed since 2007 when the 40 Days for Life organization was established. This is possible thanks to millions of people who constantly fast and pray for the end of abortion.
Courageous people who believe in the value of life and the value of family, such as pastors, priests, deacons, Culture of Life Parish Coordinators and their team members, Pregnancy Resource Centers, and advocates of life.
There are eight praying locations in San Diego and Imperial Counties. Find your local location in the following list and click on the website to sign up for praying hours. If you have any questions, please contact your local 40 Days for Life Coordinator.
