The diocesan Office for Youth and Young Adult Ministry will hold its fifth annual Young Adult Lenten Pilgrim Walk on Saturday, March 29.
Participants will meet at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Cathedral, which has been designated as the pilgrimage church for local faithful during the Jubilee Year.
Through Jan. 6, 2026, the global Church is celebrating Jubilee Year 2025, a special period of repentance, conversion and striving for greater holiness. The theme is “Pilgrims of Hope.”
A bus will transport pilgrims to Immaculate Conception Parish in Old Town, where the group will walk the 6 miles back to the cathedral. For those interested in making a shorter pilgrimage, there are options to join at the 5-mile and 2-mile marks.
There will be fellowship, prayer and opportunities for spiritual direction and confession. Mass will be at 5:15 p.m. and dinner at 6:15 p.m.
