High school students–rising 9th-12th graders–are invited to join the Diocese of San Diego Creation Care Ministry for a fun summer of developing a sense of ecological spirituality through engagement with our sister, Mother Earth. We will begin this series of activities on June 29th and will conclude on August 8th. Our tentative plan is as follows:
June 29th – Gazing at the Strawberry Moon at Sunset Cliffs with pizza in Ocean Beach.
July 12th – Sunday afternoon trip to Coastal Roots Farm, 1:30-3:30PM.
~July 28-30 – Serve at the newly established St. Vincent de Paul thrift shop in the afternoon/evening
August 8th – Hike Mother Miguel Mountain, with a start time of 7AM, followed by BRUNCH!
Depending on interest, we may expand our lineup to include even more summer fun!
