Who We Are
A people indigenous in Guam, the Chamorros have a strong Catholic heritage, which they brought with them to the United States.
Locally, the Chamorro-Guamanian Catholic population is active in the San Diego area, participating in several organizations. In 2022, Catholic community members began participating in the diocese’s annual Pentecost Mass for All People.
Members of this community attend several parishes and hold novenas and fiestas to honor their patron saints.
