As a spiritual preparation for the San Diego Walk for Life, the Catholic community will offer a Multicultural Novena for Life, Jan. 16 to 24, at parishes across the diocese. The novena is to pray for the protection of human life. The last day of the novena is held at the Walk for Life.
The faithful have two ways to participate, in person or via the Zoom platform. The schedule is as follows:
- Jan 16: Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish (Calexico) – Spanish, 7:30 AM
- Jan 17: Good Shepherd Parish (Mira Mesa) – Multilingual, 9:00 AM
- Jan 18: Mission San Luis Rey (Oceanside) – Multilingual, 9:00 AM
- Jan 19: St. Charles Parish (Imperial Beach) – English/Spanish, 8:00 AM
- Jan 20: St. Pius X Parish (Chula Vista) – English/Spanish, 8:00 AM
- Jan 21: St. Didacus Parish (San Diego) – English, 9:00 AM
- Jan 22: St. Martin of Tours Parish (La Mesa) – English, 9:00 AM
- Jan 23: Our Lady of the Rosary Parish (San Diego) – English/Italian, 8:00 AM
- Jan 24: San Diego Walk for Life (Waterfront Park) – Multilingual, 7:45 AM
