The cultural communities present in our diocese gather as one to celebrate our Catholic faith in the diocese’s annual Pentecost Mass for All Peoples.

It all begins with a Call to Worship, featuring traditional music from around the world. A few minutes before 11 a.m., representatives of each community enter the school’s gym, holding a traditional cloth that will be placed at the altar.

Cardinal McElroy will celebrate the Pentecost Mass at 11 a.m., accompanied by the diocese’s three auxiliary bishops. The Mass features readings and prayers in multiple languages, sharing the universality of our faith.

Afterward, around 12:30, there will be a festival featuring exhibits from the cultural communities, samples of their traditional foods and musical performances.

All faithful are invited to experience our Universal Church in this beautiful celebration perfect for the entire family.
