Simbang Gabi Parish Novenas

All faithful are invited to participate in this traditional Filipino celebration.

Simbang Gabi (Filipino for “evening Mass”) is a devotional novena of Masses practiced by Filipino Catholics in anticipation of the solemnity of the birth of the Savior and in honor of his mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary.

A commissioning Mass was celebrated on Dec. 14. The novena Masses will be held Dec. 15 to the 23 at parishes across the diocese.

This celebration was organized by the Diocesan Commission for Filipino Catholics.
