The Office for Liturgy and Spirituality promotes the ongoing renewal of liturgical and spiritual life in the Diocese of San Diego.

Mission

Our office:

Oversees and coordinates the liturgical vision of the diocese in collaboration with the bishop
Plans, prepares and executes diocesan liturgies
Develops and directs ministers and musicians to provide leadership on Sunday and special liturgies
Assists parishes to foster full, conscious, and active participation in liturgical celebrations for people of all cultures

Liturgical Minister Workshops

Workshops to prepare lay ministry leaders to serve during Mass, as ushers and ministers of hospitality and to take Holy Communion to sick and homebound.
