Bringing Universal Church to our diocese

We achieve our mission by:

  • Coordinating the Missionary Cooperation Plan, which enables missionaries to share their experiences directly with parishioners during the Sunday Liturgy;
  • Through the Missionary Childhood Association, invite young people to pray and to offer financial help so that children in the Missions today may know Christ and experience His love and care;
  • Soliciting funds for the work of the Pontifical Mission Societies and missionaries – clergy, religious and lay;
  • Facilitating the celebration of World Mission Sunday in October of each year.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of World Mission Sunday. Together, we celebrate a century of faith, evangelization, and solidarity with mission communities around the world.

 

Inspired by Pope Leo XIV and the witness of Blessed Fulton Sheen, let us answer Christ’s call to be joyful missionary disciples.
