The Pre-Marriage Inventory is a critically important part of the marriage prep process. When done early and well, it enables the marriage prep minister and his team to much more effectively accompany and form the engaged couple for marriage. It also helps the marriage prep minister better assess that the couple is free to marry and that they truly understand what it is they are seeking. The FOCCUS is currently the preferred pre-marriage inventory in our diocese. It should be one of the first and earliest steps in the marriage prep process. We are here to help equip parishes to administer and facilitate this wonderful tool for their engaged couples.
