Position Overview: The Accounting Technician performs financial and accounting duties and supports the Finance and Accounting Department. The Accounting Technician’s responsibilities include providing data entry for processing payments, and funds receipts, posting activities in the sub-ledger and general ledger and providing overall support to the Diocese administration.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process and post daily funds receipts and payments including cash, check, and EFT: ACH & wires
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with the stocks donation process and posting
- Post financial activities as assigned
- Assist with the preparation of year-end closing and annual audits
- Assist with the annual budget preparation by performing assigned tasks in preparing the department budget schedules.
- Serve as backup to process and post accounts payable invoices
- Serve as backup to process payments to vendors
- Serve as backup to process billing to Parishes and Schools
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 1+ year of accounting experience
- Knowledge and experience with computerized general ledger systems, spreadsheet design, and database management and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other Cloud Based Software applications.
- Intermediate Excel Skills

Position Summary:

The teacher services the school/students in an instructional capacity and performs the specific duties assigned by the administration of the school. The teacher provides grade appropriate instructional program including:
- Teach the elements and appreciation of music via the content standards as set forth by the Diocese of San Diego and the California State Standards, PS through 8th grade, according to a master schedule
- Incorporate Catholic teachings, values and traditions into daily instruction and classroom activities

Position Summary:
Cristo Rey San Diego High School is currently hiring for multiple Work-Study Transportation (Drivers) positions. An essential part of the CRSDHS staff, Drivers safely transport students to and from work. Drivers provide supervision of high school students while in the van, ensure their assigned vehicle receives appropriate care and maintenance, and drive students to work on assigned routes. The Driver position is a split shift position, with the first shift starting at 8:15am and ending approximately at 9:30am (depending on route) and the second shift starting approximately at 2:15pm and ending at approximately 3:30pm (depending on route). This position reports to the Work-Study Director and is a non-exempt position working approximately 15-20 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive assigned routes safely and efficiently. Ensure students are dropped off and picked up from work on schedule.
- Supervise students on van and report all disciplinary issues to WS Program Director.
- Ensure maintenance and upkeep of van and complete checklists and other items as necessary.
- Drive van for school related functions as requested by the WS Program Transportation Coordinator.
- Attend meetings and trainings as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid California Driver’s License and follows CA driving laws by ensuring a clean driving record.
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Ability to pass background check and a clean DMV record (minimum last 5 years).

Job Summary:
St. Therese Academy is seeking an innovative and ambitious individual who is capable of developing a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) specials curriculum for our students. STEM will not take the place of Science classes, but will supplement student learning. As the STEM Specials teacher, this individual will develop and implement an engaging STEM curriculum for Kindergarten through sixth grade classes. STEM instruction will happen once per week with each class- with half the class (approximately 16-17 students) attending at a time.
General Teaching Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to the Common Core and California State standards as well as the Diocese of San Diego Religion Standards
- Establish a positive classroom culture and maintain strong classroom management to maximize instructional time

- Report all injuries, especially head injuries, to the director.
- Understand the school’s fire drill and disaster procedures and teach children “stop, drop and roll” and “drop, cover, hold on.”
- Inform Director of any medical alert situation with children such as bee stings or allergic reactions.
- Responsible for remaining on campus for up to 72 hours after an earthquake or other disaster until all children have been picked up.

This role will be responsible for overseeing the youth ministry as well as the technology and social media needs of the Parish. We have about 57 students in the middle school and high school programs (combined), a core team of 12, and about 18 in the young-adults program. - Playing the musical portions of the service and accompanying the choirs
- Selecting music for preludes and postludes, learning, practicing, or reviewing it, determining organ registrations, setting them up at the organ console, and practicing them for effectiveness

Coordination and Administration
- Serves as a member of the parish staff and administration team. Participates in decision-making regarding total parish direction and activities. Attending all staff meetings, faith formation team meetings, prayer days and educational days.
- Leads the Faith Formation Team, principally the family catechesis program and the Order of Christian Initiation Program. Confirmation is under youth ministry, a separate division, but this position works closely with the youth minister to ensure continuity and cohesion in catechetical programing.
- Forms a team of young adults to plan and promote activities and programs for young adults in parish, which includes young parents in Our Lady’s School. Is present for the execution of those activities and programs.
- Manages the faith formation portion of the parish budget.

The Youth Minister is responsible for providing Christian formation for Middle School children, High School teens and Young Adults. The Youth Ministry Coordinator is responsible for the development, organization, and administration of parish youth programs. - Coordinating, implementing and evaluating a comprehensive youth ministry program for Jr. High (Gr 7-8) and High School (Gr 9-12) that includes: catechesis/formation, advocacy for youth and their families, community life, evangelization, justice and service aspects, leadership development, pastoral care and prayer and worship opportunities
- Offering Sacramental Preparation for the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation and providing for the youth a Confirmation specific weekend retreat
- Coordinating the Sunday 5:30 pm Youth Mass, preparing youth to serve as Ushers; Lectors; Altar Servers; Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (Confirmed Youth)
- Recruiting, training, motivating and evaluating all peer and adult volunteers
- Supervising and evaluating all volunteers making sure they have undergone safe environment training
- Organizing an annual fundraiser (spaghetti dinner or similar) to help support confirmation and youth programs especially confirmation retreat and Steubenville conference
- Attending staff meetings and pastoral council meetings

Summary
It is the responsibility of the Executive Director to oversee all operations and carry out the decisions of the Board of Directors.

Education / Experience / Knowledge Requirements:
The position of Executive Director requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and experience working with mental health patients, human trafficking victims, congregate care homes, or non- profit management. Master’s Degree preferred. Experience working with victims of sex trafficking strongly preferred. Five years’ experience of the supervision of staff is required. A valid driver’s license from the state of employment is required.
